After our one-week stay in Crete, we returned to Athens for the last 2 weeks on our visit. We were able to visit and see some beautiful sights, such as the Parthenon at the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill.
On one evening, we went out to dinner with friends to a nice restaurant called the Anopolis, which is located on a high point in Petroupolis (the city in which my grandmother's house was located and where we were based out of for the 2 weeks). Here are pictures of the view we enjoyed.
Above with the boys, is a good friend and neighbor of my grandmother's named Dimitri. It was with his family and another couple that we had gone out to dinner. It's friends such as these that made Greece such a memorable and wonderful visit.
Also, we were able to zoom in and get a great night shot of the Parthenon at the Acropolis, a beautiful sight to see, day or night. More to come on that.
